2020-2021
This season we improved a lot. We were independent, determined and hardworking. This season was a fun, challenging and motivating experience. We won 2nd place in the Connect Award, 3rd Place in Think Award and 2nd place in the Inspire Award in the first competition. We then won the Inspire Award and are now advancing to the States championship!
2019-2020
Our Awards
We improved a lot in our second year. After our first regional competition we got qualified to go to States. Additionally before going to States, we also competed in the OCRA League Meets and went to 2 other regional competitions. Preparing for States was no easy task. We had build and change some of the robotics components and improve our programs. We practiced interviews in class and began to ready ourselves for the States competition. States was just as fun as regular competition, if not, funner. We competed to the best of our ability and presented well. Though, we did not make it to Worlds, we still had a great experience.
We received the 2019-2020 Hammerhead SharkNado Qualifier Winning Alliance Award. This award is given the the alliance teams that win the regional matches and are qualified to go to States. We also received a runner up for STEM Award in the OCRA League Meets. This award is given to the team who helps spread the use of STEM,
2018-2019 Competition
In our first year we went to only one competition. The experience was an unforgettable one. It was probably one of the best experience we had with a competition. Though, we were nervous at first, we did our best and ended up having a lot of fun. When the judges interviewed us about our team, we spoke confidently. We tried our best in all of our games and even though, we still lost 3 of them, we didn't lose hope. During the lunch break, we discussed what we could've done better and what we could improve on in the future. The competition ended with and awards ceremony. We won the Promote Award and were runner ups for blank award.
Our Awards
The Promote Award is given to the team that best promotes FIRST. We received this award because of the promotional video we made about FIRST. WE were also runner ups for blank award. This is given to the team that blank.
